Vehicles

The Vehicles form is a fairly simple form. Used to keep track of vehicles owned/used by the department, it shows the most pertinent information for identifying it as well as what service has been done on each vehicle. The Requires Operator check box indicates whether or not a fire fighter must remain at the vehicle during an incident like a fire. For example, a pump truck needs someone to operate the pump controls at the truck. This person is counted as part of the attack team for the 10 in 10 guidelines, but is not included in the count of fire fighters on the scene on the Emergency Response - Host Station Response Times report.

This form also allows access to the vehicle report . This report contains all of the vehicle's information in a clean, printable report. Since the vehicle form shows a limited number of lines in the Service section, the vehicle report will let you see more at one time.
