The screen on the right will let you print a list of animals sorted by the animals' tag numbers. Pick the year you want to show and click the Print button. Like the Owners report, this assumes that the first four digits of the tag number are indeed the year of the animal tag. If there are some tag numbers that start with the incorrect year or do not start with four digits for the year, this report could help you find those animal records on the Animals form, so the invalid tag numbers can be fixed. While verifying data is one of the main purposes of this report, it may also be nice to have a list of tags available that includes all animal information. Of course, animals that have a date in the Deceased field will not be included.
