The Reports section introduces you to the features of many of the various reports to which you have access through the General Leger system.
Financial Reports: Prints out the
Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, and a General Ledger Report.
Financial Information Reports (FIR): The
Minsitry's FIR reports can be set up once and printed from our system many times.
There are also some more reports that are not driven by complicated forms. They can be found in the Other Reports submenu:
- Part lists:
Each of the Parts Lists from the forms in the Other Maintenance menu section can be printed directly from the Other Reports menu section.
- General Ledger:
The General Ledger report is similar to the Income Statement report except that it also shows transactions for each account. This is a long report.
- Monthly Dept Expenses Chart:
This is a sample report designed to show what can be done by the system. The data is based on
- Transactions Lookup:
Lets you find a group of transactions by date or by batch. If the wrong account was used, you no longer have to find an account that was used on that day or in that batch to
be able to get the Transactions reports.
- Auditor's File:
Clicking this menu item will copy the Trial Balance to a text file. You can set the name and location to which the file should be saved using the Setup Wizard.
Auditor's Database: Some auditors prefer the data to be sent to them in a special format that can be immediately uploaded into their own software. This menu option will fill this file once
clicked.
Statement of Expenditures: Usually printed for a single month, this report can also report on any date range for which there is data. You can also email this report as an attachment to an address
which is set up in the Setup Wizard.
