Live Updates

The Live Update program can be run automatically or manually as long as your server has access to the Internet. If Auto Live Update has been set in the Setup Wizard, then the first time the Baker Main Menu is run each day, Live Update will be run. Whether or not Auto Live Update has been set, a Live Update can be run manually at any time by going to the Administration menu and clicking on Server Update. In either case, if there are updates available, you will see a screen like the one below.

The systems that have updates, that is where your current version is older than the version on our update site, will appear with their zipped file size in kilobytes. You have the option to uncheck the programs that you do not wish to update right now.

When you click Finish, it will download the chosen updates then show you the Local updates screen like in the picture on the right. Clicking the Update button will update your own local Baker programs the same way as exiting all programs and logging back on will. Of course, you can use this Local Update form to refresh your copy of a program simply by putting a check in the box beside the troubled system then clicking Update.
